White Bison’s 7th Annual Wellbriety Conference will take place in Minneapolis, MN April 17-19, 2008.  This year's conference is entitled Healing the Hurts: The Youth and Families Speak (Understanding the Power of Forgiveness).   

Our conference will focus on giving participants the opportunity to explore the issues surrounding intergenerational trauma and develop skills and gain resources that will help them to work towards individual and community healing.

Dear Tribes and Tribal Enterprises,

We encourge your tribe to send a young lady to represent your tribe in the Miss Indian World Pageant. The Miss Indian World Pageant is April 23-26, 2008, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Co-hosting the pageant this year is Soni Moreno (of the singing group Ulali) and Ky mani Marley (son of the legendary Bob Marly). The crowning will be at the Gathering of Nations Powwow on Saturday, April 26, 2008.  An application is attached to this e-mail.  The show, its on 90.1FM KKFI In Kansas city, its on at  4:00 pm CST Sundays, The show is on the net www.kkfi.org also It streams live so at 4:00 PM CST , people can listen at 5:00 pm EST, 3:00 pm PST.

nativespiritradio@yahoo.com  is a wonderful young lady that is in the know of what is going on in the Indian World. She works with Haskell Indian Univ.
