Energy in Motion: The Natural Healing Center, LLC is excited to announce the 2nd Bi-Annual Natural Healing Arts Fair on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 & 2, 2008 at the Lamplighter Inn North, 2820 North Glenstone Ave, Springfield, MO.  The Natural Healing Arts Fair will feature more than 70 natural healing providers who will be offering their services, product and presentations.

THE CARAVAN STAGE COMPANY IS SEARCHING FOR A SINGER ACTOR TO PLAY AN INUIT CHARACTER IN AN ORIGINAL SHOW ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING. THE CARAVAN IS CURRENTLY BASED IN GREECE AND THE ENGAGEMENT IS FROM THE 5th OF APRIL TO THE 22nd OF SEPTMEBER.

THE CARAVAN, founded in 1970, is a Canadian non profit experimental theatre company. The Caravan tours and performs on it's own Tall Sailing Ship called the Amara Zee, a fully equipped touring theatre facility, complete with it's own light, sound and flying systems, and living accomodations for all the actors and technicians.

THE CARAVAN performs original dance-circus-theatre, with music, songs, poetry, aerial acrobatics and video imagery, directly on the decks and in the rigging of our Tall Sailing Ship. ... (more)

Please pass this attachment along.  I am a member of the Cherokee Nation and have invited Yolanda Martinez, Apache Master Drum Maker to the DC area to do one of her workshops at my Wolf Run Gathering Place in the Virginia mountains.  I have attached a flyer about this plus a workshop on finding Winter Wild Edible Plants that runs on the Friday before Yolanda's Workshop .  Any proceeds above expenses goes to support my non-profit preschool called Frog Pond Early Learning Center.

Annual Patty Iron Cloud National Native American Youth Initiative

KNOW ANYONE WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED? - PLEASE PASS ALONG.  The Association of American Indian Physicians (AAIP) is now accepting applications for the 11th Annual Patty Iron Cloud National Native American Youth Initiative which will be held in Washington D.C. , June 21 - 29, 2008. American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) high school students, ages 16- 18, who have an interest in the health careers and/or biomedical research are encouraged to apply. The NNAYI scholarship pays for travel, lodging, and most meals during the program. NNAYI's curriculum is strategically designed to prepare students for admission to college and professional schools, as well as for careers in health and biomedical research.
To accompany the students, AAIP is accepting applications for counselors, age 21 and older, to serve as role models during the nine-day program. AI/AN college students and ... (more)
